Break-up
Sunday. 1.2.11 9:28 pm
No, I didn't get my heart broken. I wish it was me though because at least I know what to do after this.

Well, the bugger decided to break-up with my friend on new year's day. And then he tried to fix things up (because they were in a relationship for like 6 years), like being friends after the break-up. This is the problem: he doesn't realise how much harder it is for the other party. I can't write it anywhere else because I don't think she told anyone else but me and her sister but I really need to get it out of my system.

I know how confusing and hard it is to not being able to let go of someone and I really want to tell him to stop calling her because he is making it real hard for her. Though I cannot do anything unless she wants me to and all I want to do is not make her even more sad. Seriously.. unless the two parties in the relationship just drifted apart, you cannot be friends with an ex.. especially when your relationship is a long one. To be honest, I do see his view, since he views her as a kid, but honestly.. he has no idea how hard it is to let go of someone who still show that he cares.

I know she's strong, sometimes much stronger than me. I just hope that he will stop calling her to make sure that she is alright because right now he is no right to know anything at all.

Fuck that.
I hate that.

My friend who rejected me twice.. keeps leading me on still by contacting me, letting me sleep with him etc.

I'd tell him to step off until your friend gets over him or finds someone new.

Hmmm...he could've played this a looot better. Breaking up on new years?? Jeez. Might as well have just broken up on their anniversary. Avoid doing this kind of thing on sentimental dates at all costs.

When I first read the title, I thought this entry was about you...and I got really surprised because I never heard anything about a relationship before this!

awwwwwwww
It's so true.... it's impossible to be friends after that, at least not for a really really long time. When you break up with someone it's really hard because often you really do still love them as a person on some level and they're sad and usually you are the one who can make it all better... but this time you are the one that is hurting the person you love. It's really hard to step back and not call them or ask them how they're doing. I've been on both sides of this thing and I really actually appreciated it when one of my friends said, "You have to stop talking to him, and you have to take anything that refers to this off of your status messages/AIM/etc.-- everything will be a lot better faster if you do those things." Before that it hadn't occurred to me how much it was hurting him. So if you are friends with this guy I would say that it might be worth the risk to inform him in a kind way that it would be better for her for him not to call for a while.

err... sometimes, people should just use their brain to do the judgment before they execute their plan.
